PRESENTATION & COMMUNICATION COACHING

INDIVIDUALIZED ONE-TO-ONE COACHING

 

FOR UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

METHODOLOGY

Observation Sessions:

  • Coach will observe the presenter in a minimum of three presentation/classroom sessions during the coaching timeframe (these can be in person or pre-recorded)

  • A feedback observation document will be completed during the observation session, that will later be provided to the presenter/professor before or after the in-person feedback and suggestion session (depending on the time-frame between observation sessions)

  •  

 

 

 

Feedback and Suggestion Session:

  • Coach will meet with presenter/professor and give feedback and suggestions orally as well as formal written suggestions (for use for further professional development)

  • Feedback and suggestions for improvement documents will be sent to the presenter/ professor after each session

 

 

Final progress report:

  • In the last feedback report/session the coach will provide a ‘final progress report’ highlighting improvements made and skills to be further developed

Coaching principles:

  • Deliver feedback in a positive but practical manner

  • Offer ideas and suggest changes that make sense to the presenter/ professor

  • Maintain a balance between praise and criticism

  • Work with the presenter/ professor to set specific, achievable goals

  • Provide constructive criticism and suggestions to improve weak areas and amplify strengths

Presentation/classroom communication coaching sessions.

 

Presentation/classroom observations followed by written and in-person feedback with tips and tricks to help improve general communication and  presentation skills.
